Welcome to Freeport Church of the Nazarene, one of the friendliest churches you will ever visit. Freeport is a spirit-filled family church located in Long Island, New York, and dedicated to the propagation of the gospel of Jesus Christ. If you live in the New York or Long Island area, we welcome you to come join us in one or more of our weekly worship services as well as Bible studies. Our zoom Ministry and Webcast Ministry allow our outreach efforts to impact all nations of the world.

We preach and teach classic Biblical Theology with careful sensitivity to the office and ministry of the Holy Spirit. The cause and core of all we do is to present Jesus Christ the Savior of the world – the only hope for mankind collectively and for man individually. We hope you’ll join us to spread the love and share the power of faith.

What To Expect

We know how important it is to choose your next church home. We want to give you information on planning your first visit with us.

You will be welcomed at the entrance by one of our  greeters. They are able to answer your questions about amenities as well as escort you to the sanctuary entrance for service. If needed, there are ushers to help you find a seat.

We will have congregational singing for our praise and worship service as well as a Biblical message rooted in the Word of God. One thing you will find about us is that we are a diverse congregation and come from all backgrounds. In our unity, we gather around biblical worship with instruments, the moving and operation of the Holy Spirit and theological teaching.

We have children’s services Sunday morning during The Sermon for children of varied ages. During this time, children and young adults are taught biblical truths and a Bible-based message each week. The younger children often have a crafts project as an engaging activity paired with the lesson. After service, children are picked up by the parent from a secure entrance.
